HALL
HISTORY
Constructed in 1981 as a residence hall for 250 women; Second
hall constructed with specific purpose of being a women's hall
(PW was the first one year earlier). The largest gift in Notre
Dame history from a living person (from Frank and Sylvia Pasquerilla)
provided funding for the construction of both Pasquerilla East
and West Halls. |
ROOM
INFORMATION
Most of the rooms in PE (60%) are
doubles. About 20% of the rooms are singles. There are also
6 three-room quads on each floor. Similar layout exists in PW, Knott,
and Siegfried. |

Breyan Tornifolio has six years of experience working in residence life, serving most recently as Coordinator of Residence Life at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, WV, and an M.A. in Higher Education from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. During her three years at St. Vincent College, Breyan oversaw residential programming for all first-year students and supervised a staff of 17 resident assistants and an assistant hall director in a residence hall for 330 first-year students. She worked concurrently in the Residence Life Office and sat on a number of college committees. As Coordinator of Institutional Research at Wheeling Jesuit University, Breyan created and analyzed surveys, studied student retention rates, and performed departmental audits. She also served as a resident assistant for two years while pursuing her graduate degree. |
