HISTORY
Constructed in 1981 as the first Notre Dame building intended
to be a women's residence hall; The largest gift in Notre Dame
history from a living person (from Frank and Sylvia Pasquerilla)
provided funding for the construction of both Pasquerilla West
and East Halls. |
ROOM
INFORMATION
Most of the rooms in PW (60%) are
doubles. About 20% of the rooms are singles. There are also
6 three-room quads on each floor. Similar layout exists in PE, Knott,
and Siegfried. |

Sister
Susan Bruno is a member of the Congregation of the Third Order
of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, Joliet, Illinois. She became
rector of Pasquerilla West in 1993. Sister Sue received her
B.A. in English from the College of St. Francis in Joliet and
a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago.
Her many years in education include working as retreat director,
teacher, counselor, and Dean of Discipline at St. Francis Academy,
later Joliet Catholic Academy. Sister Sue has also served as
vocation director for her religious congregation.
