The University maintains a house located at 222 E. Cripe Street which serves as a private residence for the Village chaplain, a laundry facility for Cripe Street residents, an exercise facility, and a place for quiet study and TV viewing for residents. The house can be approached from US 31 and Cripe Street or by using the walking path from the Beichner Community Center. Village apartment keys unlock the back door and Cripe Street Apartment keys unlock the front door of the house. At no time can any of the furnishings or items in the facility be removed for private use. They are strictly for communal use.
