The Fischer Community Center is centrally located in the Fischer, O'Hara-Grace
Graduate Residences community and serves as the hub for students living
in the FOG complex. The center contains the FOG administrative office,
chaplain's office, chapel, social space, and laundry room. It is a 24
hour securely locked facility with access for the residents using their
ID cards.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FISCHER
COMMUNITY CENTER
- Mailboxes for all Fischer residents are conveniently
located outside the center near the front entrance. U.S. mail
is delivered here Monday through Saturday. Campus mail is delivered
Monday through Friday.
- A campus phone is available outside the main entrance.
- The central hallway provides convenient access to
the FOG administrative office, Chapel, Chaplain's office, restrooms,
and the community room.
- An information board is maintained to keep residents
up to date with campus information.
- Mass is held on a daily basis in the Chapel of St.
Catherine of Alexandria.
- The community room offers an excellent place to relax
and watch movies on the big screen television. A pool table and dart
board are also available for residents to use free of charge. Also located
in the community room are plenty of board games and even a foosball
table!
- A laundry area is located in the lower level of the
community center. Adjacent to the laundry area is a space with stools,
couches and a television. Vending machines are also available.
